When our daughter was born, we wanted our baby to express who we are as cool, punk rock, edgy parents. So we looked for punk rock nursery items such as cool punk bedding, punk rock blankets, black onesies with skulls, Ramones Logo, and Run-DMC images, as well as eco-friendly and organic clothes, etc. We shopped for punk diaper bags, cool bib and burp cloth sets and other really unique rockin' baby gifts to shower our new little one with! Our search was challenging to say the least so in 2003, we opened Jaminga. in the trendy Alberta Arts District, in Portland, Oregon. Portlandia is our home.

Many people have asked about the name, Jaminga. Actually, the inspiration was our daughter’s imaginary friend, Jaminga. A child’s imagination is endless, as is the selection of cool punk rock baby clothes and gifts at Jaminga! We are proud to support small business and believe in families being at home together!
